Marketing & Communications Committee Description
The marketing committee is responsible for developing and maintaining a program of activities that will keep the members and the outside public aware of the activities of the Branch County GSC’s significant progress and achievements. To enhance the image of the GSC, the marketing/communications committee is responsible for planning, organizing and maintaining lines of communication with collaborative members, media, community organizations and local residents.
Objectives |
- Develop, implement and fund an annual communications plan (template provided by the ECIC).
- Maintain web site and/or web page to provide on-going communication to the public about the activities and successes.
- Sustain one or more communications vehicles for on-going education and public awareness about the activities and successes of the GSC such as newsletter, institutional brochure, public service announcements, and collateral presentation materials.
- Support for public will, including letter writing campaigns to public officials, community conversations with opinion leaders, etc…
- Organization of two (2) legislative education sessions for local elected officials and policy makers.
