Great Start Collaborative Finance/Fund Development
Committee Description
The purpose of the GSC finance/fund development committee is to provide oversight of funds collected by and disbursed on behalf of the GSC, oversee and execute activities deemed necessary by the ECIC such as the Finance Project, and appropriate reporting to the ECIC on a quarterly and annual basis.
Objectives |
- Oversee disbursement and use of GSC funds in accordance with the ECIC guidelines.
- Implement year 1 Early Childhood Action Agenda goals related to system financing and fund development.
- Review progress of year 1 Early Childhood Action Agenda.
- Determine priorities for Year 2 Early Childhood Action Agenda.
- Review Michigan’s Finance Project (FP) Reports via presentation from the ECIC.
- Communicate findings and recommendations of the Michigan FP reports to their community.
- Assure GSC membership completes the FP template for Branch County.
- Incorporate the information from the completion of the FP into Year 2 Action Agenda.
- Submit SOE and Narrative reports to the ECIC per contract.
